Shawn Horcoff, C, Edmonton OilersSaturday 11/21, 7:51 AM CT
According to the Edmonton Sun, Shawn Horcoff returned to practice on Friday and is expected to play in Saturday's contest.

Our View: Horcoff left Thursday's practice with a nagging shoulder injury, but appears to be on the mend. The Oilers can ill afford to play without him, as they've lost over 100 games to injury this season already, but his numbers currently don't warrant fantasy consideration (eight points in 18 games).
Steve Mason, G, Columbus Blue JacketsSaturday 11/21, 7:36 AM CT
The Columbus Dispatch reports that Steve Mason will get the start between the pipes on Saturday.

Our View: Mason has struggled this season (3.49 GAA and .884 save percentage), but played very well on Thursday stopping 25 of the 26 shots he faced. Mathieu Garron, was expected to start, but with the reigning Calder trophy winner's most recent performance he earns the nod against Nashville.
Andrew Ebbett, C, Chicago BlackhawksSaturday 11/21, 7:24 AM CT
According to the Chicago Tribune, the Blackhawks have placed Andrew Ebbett on waivers.

Our View: Ebbett shined with the Ducks last season, totaling 32 points in just 48 games, but slumped in training camp and was released. The Hawks nabbed him on October 17th, but he failed to impress after several opportunities, and now they've followed in Anaheim's footsteps and placed him on waivers as well.
Rene Bourque, LW, Calgary FlamesSaturday 11/21, 7:20 AM CT
According to the Calgary Herald, Rene Bourque has been placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury and will miss at least a week.

Our View: Bourque was injured on a hit in the first period of Thursday's game, and aside from a brief 13 second shift in the third period, didn't return to the game. This is certainly unfortunate for him and the Flames, as Bourque is leading the team in points (21 in 20 games) and is having quite the breakout season. He will be replaced by David Moss in the lineup, but you may want to look elsewhere for fantasy help over the next week to pick up the rising Flame's slack.
Ray Emery, G, Philadelphia FlyersSaturday 11/21, 12:14 AM CT
Ray Emery only stopped 23-of-29 shots in Friday's 6-3 loss at San Jose.

Our View: Emery gravely struggled in a tough road matchup tonight, but he allowed two or less goals in six of his previous seven outings - meaning he should be able to bounce back fine.
Claude Giroux, RW, Philadelphia FlyersSaturday 11/21, 12:10 AM CT
Claude Giroux was a standout for the Flyers in Friday's 6-3 loss at San Jose, as he racked up two goals and an assist. He took three shots on goal.

Our View: Giroux scored in three straight games, with two goals and four assists over the span. The 21-year-old is already on his way to be becoming a star winger in the NHL, and his fantasy stock should continue to rise.
Dany Heatley, LW, San Jose SharksSaturday 11/21, 12:04 AM CT
Dany Heatley recorded a hat trick in Friday's 6-3 win over the Flyers at HP Pavilion.

Our View: Heatley lit the lamp in four of his last five games, and collected his second hat trick of the season. The star sniper continues to lead the Sharks with 17 goals for the season.
Joe Thornton, C, San Jose SharksSaturday 11/21, 12:01 AM CT
Joe Thornton helped carry the Sharks in Friday's 6-3 win over the Flyers at HP Pavilion, as he chipped in four assists.

Our View: The star center scored in four straight games, with two goals and six assists over the span. Thornton continues to perform up to high expectations for fantasy owners, with six goals and 30 points over 24 games.
